GLBT
READING SERIES
TOMORROW NIGHT!
A group from SOTL will attend the GLBT
Reading Series tomorrow night, November 26, 7 PM at InterMedia Arts, 2822
Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis. Local GLBT authors will read excerpts
from their books.
There's no "Church Nite" that night, so take the
opportunity to join a group of your friends at a great event, and show support
for our local authors. No reservation is needed; just show up and look for the
SOTL group.

Join Us
for Worship Service!
Beginning this Sunday, November
30, we observe
"Elbow Sunday."
What, you ask, is Elbow Sunday?
Elbow Sunday is the day we ask you to
dust off those empty elbows by bringing a guest (or guests) to
worship with us at Spirit of the Lakes.
As an added incentive, we offer you and
your guest(s) a shorter, guaranteed more user-friendly service. Pastor James
preaches this week--his message:
"Ready or NOT! Here I
come!"

THINKING
GREEN
"I PROMISE TO
CAULK"
We'll probably have a few warm days this
weekend. Enjoy the respite, and take advantage of them. Buy your caulk now
so that you are ready to work off some of that turkey after dinner by sealing up
exterior cracks. Make it a family project!
The reason we hear the same advice every year--to
caulk windows and doorframes, insulate, turn the thermostat down, have the
furnace checked--is because it's good advice.
And it's also cheap and easy.
To see the impact of your efforts, compare your
energy use to last year's. Cutting down on heating demands saves money and
conserves resources.
