Worship
The center of our community worship is our Sunday morning celebration. It renews us and inspires as we journey together every day of the week.
The foundation of our life together is expressed in these words from our communion liturgy:
Christ is the host,
Christ sets the table, and
Christ welcomes all.
We come from many traditions, and our liturgy reflects that. Our Sunday service includes
- Readings from the Bible, from contemporary writings, and from the scriptures of other paths.
- Preaching rooted in liberation theology, relevant to our lives and thought provoking.
- Private and public prayer.
- Communion - the sharing of Christ's inclusive table.
- Music and singing, with songs and hymns from a wide range of styles.
- Visual art in our worship space.
Our regular worship time is Sunday at 10:30 AM. Special services are held at other times throughout the year.
Children are always welcome at SOTL.
